Thames Cards was established in 1990, when its owner, Sue Milton, was disappointed with the range and quality of local postcards then available. Sue has always had a keen interest in local places around the River Thames, and was already a competent landscape photographer, so she set about creating her own new postcards.
Her range of postcards now stretches geographically from Lechlade - the upper Thames - into London, and more images and designs are regularly added to her portfolio.
As a natural development from her local landscape photography, her wide range of pictorial greetings cards proves to be very popular with both locals and tourists.
Sue also offers carefully selected framed limited edition prints from her collection, made available through Holme Grange Craft Village and other outlets.
Sue is also able to provide her images for use in brochures and for other commercial purposes such as exhibitions and web sites (please contact Thames Cards for rates).
Sue is happy to undertake a wide range of photographic commissions in the area. She has already covered such things as local regattas, private boating events, and photographic assignments leading to commissioned postcard runs. By arrangement she is also able to undertake high quality aerial photography from a Microlite.
Take a look at her portfolios on this web site for an indication of the range of work available from Thames Cards. Please contact Sue if you are interested in any of her existing work - too extensive to be shown here in its entirety - or she will be happy to hear from you to discuss any commissions or other work in her specialist field.
